All told, there are some 400+ certifications vying for consumer attention – some are federal efforts, others are NGO initiatives and some, like the Smart Choices Program, are industry-led seals. With 1 in 4 U.S. consumers saying they have no way of knowing a product is or does what it claims, are trustmarks a solution?
